literal pasv command not working
Posted by - NA - on 09 September 2008 07:42 PM
My Titan server is behind a firewall. When I try the "literal pasv" command, the connection times out. What could I be doing wrong?

The 'literal' command in the command line ftp utility is simply used to blindly pass the command to the server, it won't really open a data connection...it will merely send the PASV command to the server. This will cause the server to return a 200 level response with the IP address and PORT number that would be used if a data connection were to be opened.
