Entering/Reentering a registration code

There are a few scenarios in which a customer will be required to enter a registration code for WebDrive. The first is upon intial purchase of the product. A customer will also be required to enter a registration code if:

a) they are upgrading from one major release to another, for example, going from version 8 to version 9. Registration codes are release specific and will not activate a newer version.

b) they are expanding an existing multi seat license, for example, going from a 25 to 50 user license. Registration codes are also specific to a purchase, cannot be combined, and are not inclusive of any existing license purchases - for example, two 10 user licenses do not equal a 20 user license.

In order for the new registration code to function properly, the old code must be deactivated and the one activated in its place.

The reactivation process is as follows:

1. Open the WebDrive User Interface
2. Click HELP
3. Highlight LICENSE
4. Choose Registration and License Information
5. Choose Deactivate (you will see a message stating that the software will no longer function until you reactivate it)
6. Choose Reactivate License
7. Add the new registration code, click Activate
8. A Success message will be generated, Click OK
9. Click FINISH
