SFTP with Cornerstone & WebDrive

Here is a brief walkthrough for setting up a new SFTP server with Cornerstone and then setting up WebDrive to connect to the server from the same machine: To set up Cornerstone to use SFTP: 1. Launch the New Server Wizard 2. Disable FTP and anonymous access on the FTP screen of the wizard 3. Enable SFTP on the SFTP screen of the Wizard 4. Create and select a Host Key (click Host Key Management) 5. Finish the New Server Wizard 6. Create a new user account that will be used to connect To set up WebDrive to use SFTP: 1. Launch the New Site Wizard 2. Give the site a unique name 3. Select SFTP as the protocol 4. Select a drive that isn't currently in use 5. Enter the Cornerstone user account's username/password 6. Finish the Wizard with 'connect now' enabled. | |
