Server is reporting during the SSHv2 Server: Key Exchange Init that it only supports ssh-rsa
Posted by - NA - on 11 March 2010 09:12 PM
Scenario:

I am trying to get a client to connect that only supports ssh-dss. Your server is reporting during the SSHv2 Server: Key Exchange Init that it only supports ssh-rsa. What do I need to do to correct this?

Resolution:

You will need to create a new Cornerstone SFTP Server Host Key and choose DSS/DSA as the key type when running the New Host Key Wizard in the Host Key Management utility. Then configure your Cornerstone server to use the newly created DSA/DSS key.
