Unable to access/save company file (Quickbooks 2007)

Why do I receive the following error when accessing my Quickbooks 2007 and later company file? Error: -6176, 0 Quickbooks cannot get the network address of the server. As of Quickbooks 2007, Intuit changed the file format and access methods. Since that time, QB requires that the file be on an MS Lan drive (SMB). QB no longer operates over a WebDrive. | |
