The problem is the ISA firewall client normally intercepts winsock calls and then uses the currently logged on NT user credentials to authenticate with the ISA server. WebDrive runs under the "LocalSystem" account as a Service so this is most likely failing. ISA 2004 - instructions The Credtool.exe tool that was available in ISA Server 2000 has been replaced by FwcCreds.exe, and is now an integral part of the ISA Server product. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/isa/2004/help/SR_C_CfgFWClient.mspx?mfr=true ISA 2000 instructions There is a utility called "Credtool.exe" which comes with the ISA firewall client. The Credtool utility is installed with the Proxy Client, and is located in the Mspclnt folder. You will have to do the following things. 1) Set WebDrive back to default settings. Turn off Socks proxy; don't configure WebDrive to use proxy at all. 2) Create a Wspcfg.ini text file and place it in c:\program files\webdrive directory. The contents of the file should be [wdService] ForceCredentials=1 3) Run the Credtool utility with the following parameters: credtool -w -n wdService -c Then try and connect to a site using WebDrive. | |
